Zhi Mubiao

HIGH SPIRITUAL POWER| Hundreds of years of training, life-and-death missions, and meditation has steadily risen the once low spiritual power that Zhi once possessed. He is capable of facing lieutenant-level opponents, and it is believed that if he had not been crippled, he would have become captain-class long ago. Zhi’s spiritual pressure is grey and feels hard, like stone. 

EXPERT WEAPON USE| Zhi was once a master in the art of using weapons, but his body has long since betrayed him. He is extremely deadly while using a short sword, dagger, blowgun, or stick. His skill matches that of masters, however he no longer has the stamina or reaction time to fight at his best. As a result, he now prefers to avoid direct confrontation. 

EXPERT HAKUDA| Zhi was once a master in Hakuda, but his body has long since betrayed him. He specifically is extremely skilled in Tai-Chi Chan and Dim Mak, both arts that utilize little physical strength. This allows him to combat masters and even grandmasters of various martial arts. The only limiting factor he faces is his stamina and the fact that his reaction times have been dulled since his prime. 

MASTERFUL SPIRITUAL CONTROL| Despite his failing body, Zhi’s control over his spiritual energy is still top-notch. He is so skilled at hiding his spiritual pressure that even reishi-reading devices have trouble finding him. Constant meditation has allowed him to know his soul in great detail, and he is always aware of the amount of power he uses or has at any given time. 

EXPERT PERCEPTION| With only one eye, and that one going bad with age, Zhi’s visual perception has dulled. Additionally, damage to his eardrums and multiple scars have reduced the effectiveness of his other senses; however, his sixth sense can be considered at master-class. Zhi also has a very powerful instinct, which allows him to understand when he is or is not in severe danger. This makes up for his physical body failing. 

PRACTITIONER AGILITY| Zhi was once one of the fastest and most acrobatic members of the Keigun, but his body has long since betrayed him. His joints have slowly become more and more stiff over time, limiting his overall fighting capability. While his shunpo is still capable of out matching almost any lieutenant-class opponent, it is no longer at the breakneck speeds it once held.  

MASTERFUL ASSASSIN| Even with a failing body, Zhi has retained all the knowledge and skill from his days as a Keigun operator. He knows everything there is to know about human, shinigami, and arrancar anatomy, including the differences in pain thresholds and what is and is not a fatal blow for each race. He knows how to hide his physical presence to the point that he produces almost no body heat and leaves no footprints on sand or mud when walking over it. Additionally, Zhi has unreasonably powerful memory and problem solving talent. He could be in an empty room with two others and still find a way to kill one of them without the other noticing. 

KIDOU EXPERT| Even after retiring from the Keigun, Zhi has continued his pursuits in kidou. He has learned only a handful of spells, but he has figured out ways to manipulate them to fit the purposes of the Onmitsukido. This classifies him as an expert, especially with his talents of double incantation, wordless incantation, and combined incantations. 

MASTERFUL STRATEGIST & TACTICIAN| As the lead strategist for the Onmitsukido, and having literally set up and overseen thousands upon thousands of missions, Zhi has seen every conceivable strategy. From political intrigue to wartime planning, Zhi has created a mental encyclopedia that allows him to predict and outmaneuver almost anyone in mental battle. This is enhanced by the fact that he uses this vast knowledge to create new strategies on the fly to help with situations. Even if Zhi suffers one defeat, he has generally planned for it, and has something prepared.
