LAST WORDS
She knew she had her orders from the rest of the Onmitsukido, but even so. To move things along quite so soon, was it not a bit much? Still, she had her work to do as a commander and this was part of it. However, even with her recent knowledge about Jukan-Soutaichou's death, and knowing that her Captain along with the now current Captain Commander were both traitors, she still had her job to do. It would take time yes, but it was either that or follow someone who would kill simply because they wanted more power. Kyo knew she wouldn't follow such a person, and so her choice had seemingly already been made for her.
Currently, the Nibantai Fukutaichou was within her own room of the second, besides her zanpakuto, there was nothing left in the room besides what would have first been there when she had taken up the post, nearly forty years ago. Kyoko had already moved her things into her own room within the Onmitsukido, only a few days before this. Getting up from the desk within her room, glancing over to the mirror within the room before sighing. She had been here for too long, become to attached to this place, and she knew it may even be better for her to leave. With that thought it mind, Kyo removed the Fukutaichou's badge from her left arm, folding the fabric up in her hand.
::Yer doin' the right thing, ya know.:: Dokuga had muttered to his master mentally, it was rare for her Zanpakuto to provide any form of comfort towards her, so right now, it was highly appreciated from the white haired Shinigami. Letting out another sigh, Kyoko only nodded her head, picking up her sealed zanpakuto into her right hand. "I know..." She whispered aloud, attaching Dokuga to her back hip as she always would, before then picking up the letter on her desk in her left hand as well. The sound of a door opening and closing would reach the ear's of anyone who was nearby, locking the door behind her.
The walk towards her Captain's office was a fairly short one, Kyoko knocking on the door twice before entering. Glancing around the office seeing that no one was here currently, or at least no one that she could see normally, and she didn't see much point in looking. Not many in the Nibantai even ever entered her Captain-no, Former Captain's office these days, so why would anyone need to bother sneaking into a place like this. Shaking her head lightly, she walked forward. Placing her own letter of resignation on the table, and just to the right of that, her Fukutaichou's badge. Swiftly turning on her heel, the now former Lieutenant of the Nibantai headed for the exit of the room. It was time to move on.
