Dreams or Nightmares | Kurisu

Good thing that this place has some training rooms that she can use, and in one of those training room s there was something just like a dodgeball field. She even had a machine that throws balls in that room. There will be the place where she will train Trael for today. She would be blindfolded and she would have to dodge the balls that would be shot by the machine. They would do this until Trael manages to dodge the balls, or until Kurisu decides she was hit enough by those dodgeballs. She actually wondered which one would happen first. But knowing how stubborn Trael is, Kurisu would have to stop this training when she thinks it’s enough for her.

Waiting for her fraccion to get dressed, she couldn’t miss the opportunity of watching her to do. Who would turn around to give her some privacy? Well normal people would do so, but who said that Kurisu was normal? She would never miss the opportunity of watching Trael get dressed or undressed. She would watch her and record everything in her mind, because that’s what a real pervert does. And to dare and assume that Kurisu wasn’t a real pervert was a blasphemy that could be punished by death.

”Well today we are going to train your perception. I want you to be able to dodge hits while a cloth will be around your eyes. Don’t worry I won’t be the one hitting you because if you wouldn’t be able to dodge you would die. And I don’t want something like that to happen. We are going to play~” Heading out of the main room she started walking and leading Trael towards the room that has the field and where all the action would happen. It was good that this time they were close to the bed if Trael couldn’t move anymore. But Kurisu would make sure that won’t happen.

”It is not a matter of who will hit you; a better question would be what will hit you. In a room I have a small field; and on that field there is a machine that can shoot balls. Those balls have the same speed as a cero, but they won’t kill you, maybe bruise you a bit, but other than that you will be okay.” Well the bruising part depended on how easy she can get bruised. Though, considering her blue skin, Kurisu wasn’t sure she would be able to see those bruises, except from when they would turn purple.

Oh and she forgot to explain the blindfold part, how silly of her. ”Oh and dodging those balls while seeing them would be easy. That’s why I would want you to learn to predict from where those balls would come, and then try to dodge them, that’s why I would tie a cloth around your eyes.” Now that she finished explaining everything she went ahead and unlocked the doors to their new training room. It looked exactly like a gym at a school would look; it even had ropes hanging from the ceiling and many other things that you would see at a school.

”Okay, because this is the first time you train in a long time, what you will do right now is do some stretching. After that we will start training for real.” Pulling a mattress in front of Trael and closing the door she sat down and waited for her to start and do what she was instructed to do. How she would stretch was entirely up to her.

The next thing that she enjoyed doing was watching her stretch. But this wasn’t as enjoyable as it would be to watch her change clothes. Although she could watch her curves, looking at her and counting each move she does she waited for her to be ready so she would be able to start the machine, and of course she needs to know how good her fraccion is when it comes to perception.

When she was finished she got up and took the blindfold and went behind Trael. ”Now I will block your vision” Putting the blindfold on her she made sure that it wasn’t too tight so it won’t hurt her and that it wasn’t too lose so it won’t fall off. She wanted to make sure that she won’t be able to cheat at all. This training was important for her skills and it was important because if she masters it she would be able to dodge attacks in fights, thus surviving more.

Once she put the blindfold around Trael’s eyes she went to the machine. ”Okay, I will start the machine, it will throw a ball every 10 seconds, so be ready for it. If you are hit five times you are out, we will take a pause and then start again.” With that said she turned on the machine and the first ball already went out, it had the same speed as a cero.

Very nice, Kurisu wanted to say ‘good job’ for doing something like that, but she didn’t want to distract her so she didn’t say anything at all, she just looked at what she was doing to see if she was dodging just by pure luck or she was actually thinking at what she was doing. Next shot should tell her if it was luck or actually perception. But as soon as the ball went out, it hit her in the head. It looked like she was trying to do a backflip. Kurisu couldn’t help but laugh, but in order not to disturb her she laughed on the inside. This training was too funny.

She programmed the ball shooter to follow Trael’s reiastsu, now it will always fire after her no matter how she moves, so she would have to dodge after the shot was fired. This won’t let her use luck anymore; this will bring out her hidden skills, that if she has something like that. If not she would train that skill to the point where it would be perfect, just like Kurisu’s. She was so strong when it came to detection and perception that she could find someone in a town like New York and even guess their next moves.

Another reason for making the machinery be homing was that she was lazy and didn’t want to stay up. So she went on a mattress and was watching Trael dodging everything. She had four lives left, after that they pause.

It looked pretty impressive how she was able to dodge so many shots in a row; sure it was a disappointment when she saw that her streak was taken down by a simple dodgeball, but you could say it was worth it as Trael would know that she becomes stronger. That way she won’t be disappointed by herself when Kurisu shows her some affection, and when Carrla does it too. Trael was underestimating herself, some would say that it wasn’t such a bad thing, but Kurisu didn’t like it how she never thought of herself as being powerful, she always thinks she is useless and that was a downer.

Watching her as her streak of dodging balls was getting higher, she didn’t count how many it was, but she was sure that is over the streak of seven dodges that she previously had. Kurisu was smiling while watching her, but the smile faded away as another ball hit her. The smile didn’t go away because she was disappointed Trael couldn’t dodge that hit, the smile faded away because she was sad she got hit. No matter how she wanted to train Trael, she couldn’t help but feel sorry when she was hurt. That’s why she picked training where Trael couldn’t see what reactions she has.

The fifth ball hit her, and it hit her in the leg; but Trael was lucky, being hit by the fifth ball means that the training comes to a halt, and they could take a pause. But the machine didn’t know that, so it shot again. Kurisu instantly got up and in front of Trael; she fired a cero at the machine, destroy the ball and at the same time the machine making a whole in the wall behind it; there was no trace of the machine left.

Turning to Trael she offered her a hand. ”Are you okay?”

Well she was really hurt, Kurisu knew that for sure. No matter how much she tried to hide it, Kurisu knew every reaction that she would make, she learned her reaction to absolute everything. Knowing that Trael was in pain was the reason why she took the drastic measure of destroying the machine. When she saw her hurt and that she was about to get hurt again by something, her anger took control of her for the moment and she fired a cero towards the machine. It was a shame that she destroyed it; they could have used it for training some other time.

Getting on her knees next to Trael, she took of the blindfold that she had. Trael could easily see that Kurisu had a worried look on her face. ”Are you okay? You look really hurt.” She looked at Trael, making sure that she isn’t hurt anywhere else except for her leg. If Trael look at Kurisu’s face she could also notice that behind her there was a huge hole in the wall and that the machinery wasn’t there anymore. But Kurisu didn’t say anything about that.

She just got up and picked Trael up, carrying her just like a bride would be carried by her husband. Lucky for Kurisu she didn’t have to put Trael down to open the door, she just used the hole in the wall and continued towards their room. ”Sorry for forcing you so much…You hurt your leg pretty badly, I will get some medical aid for you.” Looking ahead she just continued to walk towards their room. ”For the hard work that you did today I will let you use me as a pillow.”
