{the white demon} {word 813} {the execution}
the right to choose belongs to the living.To her, the air felt heavy and filled with tension. Questions unanswered, thoughts unheard. For now the white haired female tried to calm herself. This was not the time nor the place to allow her emotions to once again, overtake her own actions that were logical. Sōkyoku Hill was a place this young Shinigami had rarely visited in her time serving the Goteijūsantai, it wasn't that she hadn't wanted to. More than she had never had the time to do so.
Yes, she had never had the time. Why? Because of one man that she had formally served, a man she now would only guess was on the run even as she thought of it. Yuu Yashin. That man had brought chaos to this place Kyoko had once called her home, now? She didn't know what to call it anymore. Nothing more than a wasteland perhaps? Little did anyone know of what was to come in the short minutes ahead, not even her.
Kyoko stood quite a way back, away from the crowd of Captain's and Lieutenants, although formally one herself. She was no fool in that regard, although further back a few higher ranking members of the second were present, seemingly pleased that their former second in command had decided to make an appearance. Better than than their Captain that was for sure. Despite the distance, it was clear that the female in question had no trouble seeing everything clearly. Eyes a dark crimson that remained looking straight ahead towards the scene above her.
It looked like it was time...
Her gaze turned upwards as the execution then began. Heat rising around all who stood upon this hill, Kyo made no sound or movement. Holding her ground just as everyone here did to watch the death of this traitor, at least from her perspective he was. The scream that followed from Sojiro was nothing more than what many would to be pathetic. It was only during this scream that Kyoko turned her head away briefly, screaming at the very end was something she didn't want to witness with her own eyes. Once that scream did mostly fade, only then did the female return to her previous gaze, and kept it there. Considering she was a way back, the heat wasn't too much of a problem, but for other's that might not be the case.
As the execution came to a quick end, it appeared that things were not over quite yet. Scarlet eyes peering forward at the elegant man who spoke aloud to all who were present, it was quite the gathering of Shinigami at that. With a gaze as hard as steel itself, the young female listened. Ah. So they had done what others had wanted to do themselves then? Interesting.
The strike of Kikōō soon followed her thoughts, having to shield her eyes, turn away, and try to cover her other exposed senses. Once the almost overwhelming sensation and aura faded away, Kyoko turned back to look upwards. Sojiro the former Captain-Commander no more, one of the half that had murdered Jukan Hinaai now finally dead. Although never having been close to the female from her thoughts, Kyo had respected the woman greatly and her loss had been felt from everyone in the Seireitei, even those who didn't personally know her.
The last of the flames from the Sōkyoku soon dying down into nothing more than a small ember, before fading entirely. The overbearing heat that once surrounded the hill, now gone. Less than even a few seconds later, Kyo had felt a brief yet strong presence but less than a second later it was gone like the wind on a floating breeze. Others nearby blinked in confusion at what if anything, had just happened. Now golden orbs glanced around and then forward, but it wouldn't be long until everyone got the answer to what had happened.
Then the Sōkyoku ... exploded!!
Natural destruction from the explosive briskly took it's course, destroying the Sōkyoku itself as well as the hill it now once stood upon. Kyoko's reiatsu naturally flaring outwards, as was a rare occurrence so she didn't end up on her knees. The blast causing many to fall quickly below as if they had jumped off the hill itself, rapidly falling continuously for at least one hundred feet, Kyoko got her bearings back enough to flash step to solid ground. Others however weren't as lucky, and continued to fall for slightly longer before re-appearing as she did moments ago. Although she could sense that quite a few of her former comrades would be far worse off than she was due to their Spiritual Pressure. Just what in the heck was that... Was the only thought that passed the female's mind right now, well that and the fact that this only caused further problems. Like this day wasn't already complicated enough.MADE BY KIROUKO OF GANGNAM-STYLE
